Dear GVMA Customer,
This billing marks the next step in GVMA’s efforts to better serve our customers. Beginning with this billing, you will be billed for your water and sewer service on a monthly, rather than quarterly, basis. Many of our customers have asked for this change because it makes it much easier to budget for your water and sewer payments. It also is an advantage for GVMA because it makes our cash flow much more regular.
In addition to the billing being monthly, you will notice several changes to the bill itself.
- The bill is now a full page, rather than the 1/3 page that you are used to receiving. The extra space allows us to give you more information about your account and to include special messages when needed. These special messages will usually be printed in color in the right hand column of the bill. Be sure to check this area each month for any special messages.
- Your bill has a perforated tear-off return stub. Return of this stub with your payment will ensure that we credit your payment to the proper account in a timely manner. Please note that your account number has changed. It is no longer your lot number, so it is important that you return the stub with your payment.
- We have included a return envelope with the billing. When the payment stub is placed properly in the return envelope our address will show through the address window and your address will show through the return address window. This will make mailing your payment easier and more efficient for you.
- Your bill now includes detailed information regarding your previous balances. This will allow you to know exactly what your account balances are each month.
- Your bill now includes a bar code. This allows us to post your payments more accurately and efficiently when we receive them in the office. This is another reason why it is important for you to return the stub with your payment.
Currently, GVMA offers four options for you to pay your bill.
- You may mail a check or money order to our office in the return envelope with the payment stub.
- You may drop off your payment after hours in our night deposit box, located in our drive-through area.
- Beginning with NEXT MONTH’S billing, you may have your payment deducted directly from your checking or savings account. Please see the special message on your bill for more information about how to take advantage of this option.
- IN THE FUTURE we will be adding credit and debit card payment options, both in person and on line. These options are NOT available for the current billing. We will notify you when these options have been added.
You may drop off your payment in person at the GVMA office at 1800 Beaver Valley Road in Flinton, either by coming into the office or by using our convenient drive-through pay window. Payment may be made by check, money order, or cash. Our regular office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Our office is closed on all federal holidays (days when there is no U.S. mail service).
