The groundhog didn’t see his shadow, the ice has melted off of Swartz Road, and the temperatures are soaring to levels unseen since last year. All of these are sure signs that spring is just around the corner. Another sure sign of spring is water line flushing.
The Glendale Valley Municipal Authority will be performing water line flushing in the Glendale Yearound water system on Tuesday, February 22. This flushing helps remove any accumulated sediment and stale water that has accumulated during the winter months when water usage in the Yearound is much lower than during the summer months.
We are also hoping that this flushing will help lessen the staining of fixtures that some of our customers have been experiencing in the past few months. You may experience varying water pressure during the flushing process and cloudy or discolored water for a few days following the flushing. We apologize for any inconvenience that this causes. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact our office.
