The pump on the primary well serving the Yearound water system has been replaced with a smaller pump which will be used temporarily while a permanent, larger replacement is being shipped. The temporary pump provides less volume than the pump that it replaced and as a result water conservation measures should continue to be observed until the permanent larger pump is in place. Our supplier estimates that the pump will be shipped in 7-10 days. Until the new pump is in place, please eliminate all unnecessary water usage (car washing, lawn watering, etc.) and keep all necessary usage (clothes and dish washing, showers, etc.) to a minimum. This is especially important on the weekends when water usage is much higher due to the camp sites being occupied. Thanks to your efforts, our water usage over the last 24 hours has dropped from its usual 120,000+ gallons/day to under 100,000. We thank you for your efforts thus far and ask that you continue your conservation measures until we have a permanent solution to the problem. We will send and post notifications if there are new developments.
