The pump on the main well at the Yearound has been replaced and the well is once again producing at full capacity. While replacing the pump we also cleaned the well to remove mineral deposits. This allows the well to produce more water and lessens the mineral deposits in that water. Thank you for your cooperation in reducing your water usage during the time when we were using the smaller replacement pump. WATER USAGE RESTRICTIONS ARE NOW LIFTED.
Now that our water production is back to full capacity we will be flushing water lines next Wednesday, August 3. This should help reduce the sulfur buildup in the lines which causes the “rotten egg” smell that some have been reporting. During and immediately after the line flushing you may experience cloudy or dirty water.
